The monorails are designed to carry suspended platforms, traversing gantries or ladders. These units can carry maintenance personnell and their tools, providing safe and efficiant access to the building. Monorails can be used both inside and outside.
How to connect the monorails to the facade?
Normally the monorails are attached to the facade using steel brackets. These brackets must be designed to fit each building, but normally the monorail should be attached 500 mm outside the facade.
There are alternatives to the Monorails, like the roof car and the parapet wagon
These tracks and their trolleys are installed behind the parapet and therefore less visible when not in use.
